3. If you don't need a lanai and don't particularly care about walking out of your room onto the grounds and then to the beach, stay in one of the Towers, they are probably worth it.

4. We stayed for 6 days, thus by the time we left, we felt like the entire staff @ RLR took care of us like we were their ohana (which is the word for family in Hawaiian).

5. The resort was clean, the people were friendly, the restaurant was great (we had all but one breakfast there - great buffet with fresh, tasty food every day), the pools were great and the beachfront was clean and well taken care of, perfect for a family.

6. The grounds to the hotel are well taken care of and the fact the hotel is right down the road from Whalers Village Mall makes shopping a quick and memorable experience as you carry your new belongings down the beach side back to the hotel.

7. The resort itself is well taken care of, the rooms have been recently updated from what I could tell and the outlying scenery is what people dream of when traveling to Maui.
