1. This hotel treated us like family, the Bellman Ronzi was awesome, offered us chocolates that his wife made for him (which were amazing) and gave us cute roses made of palm trees to give to our friends and family, if that isnt going above and beyond the call of duty, then I dont know what is.

4. Also, dont do like I did and bring fruits for the plane, they made me throw away bananas and fresh cut melon because of some agricultural rules.

7. we'd NEVER had a room like this before -- and when i called the desk, to remind them that we were 5 time visitors they told me that they had no access to any guest info as it was all 'updated' 2 years ago.

8. I don't think the grout on the tiles had been cleaned ever and the carpet in both rooms was really stretched and loose like a rug that's crinkled up.

10. The first is location - great strip of Kaanapali beach in front of the hotel and you are not shoulder-to-shoulder with others like Waikiki.
