1. However, to sum up the differences between the two: Westin Maui Resort - better for honeymooners, couples, and couples with older children; Westin Kaanapali Villas - better for families with young children.

2. The Villas were also exceptional and have a better kids pool because it is shallow throughout and has a great Pirate ship that they can play on.
