1. This resort is not for vacationers who need nightlife/socializaiton, multiple dining choices, up to the minute service and luxurious accommodations.

It is not a luxurious property in the classic sense (if you are after four season amenities the property is not for you) and does not have the best service we have experienced (in fact service was somewhat limited for a resort), but the relaxed atmosphere, the stunning location (even for Hawaii), the friendly Hawaian local feel and the wonderful camp/cottage setting creates something very special which you dont experience at your run-of-the-mill corporate 5-star resort.

5. If you can "survive" without air conditioned, over the top luxurious suites (which can be found at the Four Seasons) you might thrive on the entire ambiance of this destination.
