1. I really would like to have rated it higher, as the importance of quality food and good staff are right up there for me, but waking up to fresh bird poop having missed my head by a couple of feet just knocks it down a couple notches.

2. When told that no, this is not how to respond to animal soiled linens, please launder these and put on fresh linens, was asked if I wanted only the topsheets done or everything.

7. Each morning we enjoyed freshly ground coffee on our lanai's (they have beans and grinders in the room for the real coffee pot, I loved it.

8. Better yet, amenities like bottled water and real Kona coffee are free/complimentary, as are the beach shuttles, fresh coconuts made ready for you at your pleasure, the yoga and exercise classes, hula and craft lessons and the wonderful walking tours.
