1. The Sea Cottage pool is a nice size, and there is a jacuzzi nearby (both with fantastic views).

9. The drive to Hana is majestic (allow 4-6 hours to do it properly) and the area surrounding the Hotel is fantastic.

10. The area around Hana is so lovely, a haven for hikers (fantastic trails at Haleakala National Park, some 20 minute from the hotel), perfect for riding, and Honuma Beach is a postcard.
