1. We especially liked the hotel's location because it was right next door to the Hilton's lagoon for our toddler.

2. (I have been here on 4 different occasions in the last 6 months and this has been the case)Overall, I would recommend this hotel - it is rather like staying in someone's home - familiar and comfortable.

3. The main thing is, you will most likely not get your deposit back if you rent #1803.

4. Convenience store down in lobby was very handy for buying snacks and drinks (including alcohol), and there was an ice machine as well as a laundry on our floorWe used the pool most days and never had any issues, its not as big as some of the other hotels but we were happy with itWe never had any problems waiting that long for a lift like other people commentedOn our last morning we were advised our flight had been delayed for a day and reception were happy to extend our stay in the same room which was a reliefTour desk was touch and go - on the weekend the girl on the desk seemed more interested in chatting to her friends but the one during the week was really helpfulLocation wise - trolley stop right out the front to go into Waikiki (or back from Ala Moana) which was handy, or its about a 20 minte walk into the main area of Waikiki.

5. We booked this hotel manly from recommendations here - it seemed like a nice hotel, good value, in a good location but not too busy - it did not disappoint hereWe stayed for 5 nights booked in an ocean view room - we were in 2230 and it was a great spot, perfect views over the lagoon and out to see so we had a prime spot to see the fireworks, in addition we could see past the Hilton buildings to Diamond HeadThe room was standard - king size bed - very comfy, desk and a couple of chairs, the bathroom was small but there was a dressing room which had a mirror too so it made up in the space issue.

9. But, for those times in the evening when your relaxing before bed or in the morning when you would like to see what the local weather and/or news is, the TV is an important part of your stay.

10. Also liked the Hawaii Five-O history, this is the hotel McGarrett stands on top of during the opening credits (both the old show and the new series) and only a short walk to the beach on a walkway straight to the Hilton lagoon.
"Incredible Value much better than expected " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/7/2012 Vote
