1. All of the hotel staff that we had contact with were very friendly, especially the bell staff who handled our somewhat extensive luggage, both when we checked in, and checked out with great efficiently.

4. a few blocks from Ala Moana shopping center if you need, close the bus lines (which we used daily and very efficient #8), and a short walk to many good restaurants (Roy's, Charthouse, Eggs & Things etc.
