And when we checked out, to go to the George (another Kimpton hotel in a different neighborhood), Tina Nguyen called ahead to make sure our room would be ready for an early check in, and asked them to VIP us--their response was a bottle of wine, a fruit and cheese platter, and a welcoming note form the George's hopitality manager.

10. I was greeted with a personalized welcome note and a $10 minibar credit (for being a Kimpton InTouch member, which is free), a wine and snacks happy hour, free coffee in the morning, and free parking because I have a red car.
