2. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they host a little 'happy hour' event each evening in the lobby, with free wine and a little nosh.

3. I try to stay at Kimpton Hotels because they have a great rewards program, free happy hours, a mini-bar welcome, free internet etc.

5. I had a late flight leaving DC and didn't want to lug my suitcase around they were more than happy to let me check my bag at the front desk and come back for it later, although I'd already checked out.
