8. We asked people who drove by on the street to help (but of course no one is friendly in DC) and so we had to beg a taxi sitting out front that clearly had a relationship with the hotel and ALSO pay him $20 to help us jump the car.

10. We had to find the bag cart ourselves (no employees from the hotel were around to help us unload our bags) and lug it all into the hotel on our own.
