1. Although we missed the cut off date they were able to accomodate us and give us some credit on regular priced stay.

2. There was no onsight business center and the property is very 'dated' versus historical in my opinion.
"Great location! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/24/2012 Vote
3. This is no 'Gin Palace' for the in-crowd but if you want a pleasant and relaxing stay in San Diego wrapped in an aura of dated elegance, the Horton Grand is going to be your first choice.
"Elegance and Charm " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/16/2011 Vote
4. The Horton has a history to read, dated pictures see and take in and the walk down the halls took me back in time to feel the ambiance of the era as those that lived it in its prime.
"Gas Lamp Quarters’ Best Kept Secret " Read full review on Expedia   7/6/2009 Vote
5. The room was clean enough, but the dated furniture, ratty carpet and damp smell made me reconsider.
"Not up to my (not so high) standards " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/9/2008 Vote
6. All in all, this hotel looks like a place that the owners built and have either forgot about, or are not making enough money to keep it up to date.
"A Tired Historical Reno " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/16/2008 Vote
7. But that was 22 years ago, and now it is looking tired and dated.
