1. and on our return back to Australia and finally the issue was resolved with the amount being refunded.

2. We stayed at the Handlery for 5 nights and while the stay itself involved only minor issues (the key to our room didn't work on day 4 and the key to the car park didn't work a couple of times either), the problems started after check out.

4. As for issues at the hotel, the pool noise in the evening was a bit much and the music being played outside by the pool was a bit loud (could hear over the TV).

5. An older hotel which the Handlery family tries to keep up, and while staff is attentive and helpful, the major issue, unfortunately, is noise.

6. This hotel does seem to be a popular place for weddings and we did have an issue when a noisey wedding party were put in a room next to us and made as much noise as they could with there drinking (and other things).

8. The staff were friendly but we received poor advice from the Concierge one day (either because he was busy or he just didn`t know and tried to guess the answer) which was annoying however other staff members went out of their way to try and sort out the resulting issue with transport.

9. One minor issue was that our bathtub drain was clogged so it drained very slowly although it didn't bother us too much so we didn't report it.

10. first in cash by my Husband the evening we arrived and the next morning on my credit card? either was we did not have the time to debate the issue.
