1. I saw the hotel is animal friendly and I was happy to see this, but more happy that I didn't hear or experience any animal noise or disruptions during my stay.

3. I've traveled to a lot of cities and do not consider myself extremely sensitive to city noise, but the evolution of the rooftop bar concept in the Gaslamp quarter means that you really can't sleep well until after the bars close.

4. Okay maybe this makes me officially old and cranky, but if you stay here on the weekends you should expect A LOT of noise from the surrounding neighborhood bars.
