The bed was very
hard
and the sheets were paper thin, plus not even a comforter.

Cons: The modern bathroom sink has a high faucet and shallow sink, which means that water will ALWAYS splash on you/your clothes; The sink counter is simply too high for shorter people (I am 5'3') so it's very
hard
to use; The room had a musty smell; There is no coffee maker in the room - only in the lobby - so if you need coffee before you face people for the day, you're out of luck; The room could really use more lights; No dresser (but large closet); Not enough staff at the pool bar/restaurant so you have to wait a long time to get served.

The Solamar has
hard
working employees, good location, great rooms with lots of space, lots of amenities, great bathroom, jacuzzi tub in the room, excellent pool/ bar area on the roof, and an excellent in hotel restaurant.

They say they are kid and pet friendly but I really did not feel comfortable there with my family with the '
hard

We almost booked a room in the
hard
Rock Hotel instead but I'm glad we didn't as it seemed super noisy and the neighborhood was teeming with people.
