1. Gaslamp District on a Saturday night can be a little too boisterous for me - try to avoid a room facing towards 6th or Island on the weekend if noise is an issue.

2. The front desk was always there to help, and they were great at giving us tips for family-friendly restaurants in the area (definitely try the Broken Yolk cafe a block away for breakfast - but get there early on the weekend if you want to avoid a wait).

4. Parking is high priced so avoid a car if you are just going to be at the hotel.
