1. No morning noise from any construction and we woke up at 8 am to get done and on the road.

3. If you don't mind the daytime noise because you will be out exploring the city, get a room on the south side (even numbers) and the sunshine warms your room.

4. The hotel could be nice(big rooms, good mattress), if it was not for the construction noise during weekdays on the southern side (the manager has time to answer every comment here online but seems unable to warn guests of this noise), the thin windows which let yo hear every car on the street, the average motel-style breakfast in only a small part of the rooftop restaurants, the extra parking fee of 15 $, the non-existent air condition or heating (it was chilly in the room) and the terrace without sun beds.
"At the moment, not recommended.. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/20/2012 Vote
5. However, due to renovations, which we didn't know about because we didn't scrutinize the website, the place is in a mess right now, with sections blocked off, plastic hanging, no 'forgot it' amenities available and increased noise.
"Beware of remodeling " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/12/2012 Vote
6. We did need a heater in our room for at night and used a box fan to help with some of the traffic noise from the cars on the street.
"Nice Inn " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/17/2012 Vote
7. They were re-modelling the hotel when we were there (but you couldn't hear any noise, it was discretly happening behind a fake wall) and the investment in the product will compliment the great staff here.
"True Hospitality ! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/4/2012 Vote
8. There was a bit of street noise, which I'm used to and doesn't bother me.
"My own little San Diego apartment " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/8/2011 Vote
9. Since I was on the first floor, the opening of the windows increased the noise level in the room due to traffic, requiring me to up the volume on the aged TV to nearly maximum levels to hear the program.
"Needs an update... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/2/2011 Vote
10. Noisy room with street and guest noises.
