2. When I went down to the lobby to complain I was given a nicer room that did not have peeling paint, the carpet was fine and no creature scratching.

3. Some of the rooms are disgusting, like the first one I was placed in-- peeling paint, stained carpeting, a mouse or other critter scratching incessantly.

7. Although our room was quite grubby (stains on ceiling from air conditioning, wallpaper peeling off the walls, stains on carpet and fixtures loose), the staff`s attitude was nothing but helpful and they clearly try to make up for their outdated interiors with warm smiles and other perks (we got a free drink and pretzel upon arrival, the upgrade itself and the front desk staff were outstanding).
