They were extremely unhelpful when we asked to change room after the first night (as we were on the top floor immediately under the air conditioning unit, and on the main street), which was very noisy as there was no double glazing and the hotel is on the next block to the fire station with sirens going 24/7.

9. The hotel could be noisy as it's in a busy historical district so I requested a higher floor and our room was on the 8th floor and street noise was not an issue.
