1. Having said all of that, I really liked the bus to the parks because we avoided the lines.

3. - Don't get water or river view- Service is okay but remind them repeatedly of special occasions- Watch your dining plan credits after using downtown Disney restaurants - House of Blues charged us once at dinner and once again the next morning (between meals so it was hard to detect) and the only way we avoided a truly embarrassing conversation at a character breakfast was by watching the bottom of the receipts, noticing multiple credits disappeared and getting the mistake fixed at the front desk.

6. Getting a riverview room allows you to enjoy the view, but most importantly to avoid all the noise coming from the pool area.

9. Overall the benefit of staying at a Disney resort is great; extended hours, shuttle services, and i feel most importantly, you avoid a lot of the traffic and interaction with the locals.
