There was a cigarette butt left on the terrace all week (that we didnt leave there as we don't smoke, the room cleaner left dirty gloves on one of the bedside tables, one of the beds was really saggy, the door lock didn't work properly, glass on terrace and door filthy and phones in room didn't work.

I finally settled for a standard room in the island suites with a water view which were the same price as the standard rooms in the tower block, but what a difference, they were clean, nice and beds very comfortable, cleaners came everyday although with a bit of attitude when I asked her to clean the balcony it was too filthy to sit in.

10. In addition to to poor housekeeping service in our room (we shuttled one bar of soap between sink and shower for six days, the bathroom floor was never mopped and the balcony furniture was too filthy to use) the biggest issue was with the hotel's 'concierge'.
