It was by no means a quiet location,
loud
sirens, construction and thin walls made it impossible to sleep in past 7-8am.

The location couldn't have been better, if you have been to NOLA before you know how
loud
the French Quarter can be, at the Roosevelt, your about a 2 or 3 minute walk to the Quarter which leads to a good nights sleep.

I went to bed at around 1 am hoping for a great relaxing night sleep but was awakened by a LOUD scratching noise at 5 am and jumped up from a deep sleep thinking someone was trying to get in my room or that there was a rat in the room.

My only complaint was either my neighbors in the adjoining room were extremely
loud
or the walls were thin.
