1. The carpet was old and very stained, the wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls, there were huge holes in the bathroom door where hooks were removed and not replaced, the window sill was rotting and had a huge chunk missing from it, one of the feet on the base of the lamp was broken off so every time you turned the lamp on it fell over (which probably explained why it was bent and misshaped), one of the beds didn't have a bed skirt so you could see the huge ugly tags everywhere and there are only like three electrical outlets in the entire room.

2. Yes, we noticed spots on the carpet and some small paint peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom, but beyond that, we didn't really have an issue with cleanliness.

4. Upon check-in we were given a room where the enamel was peeling off the tub.

5. I was somewhat disappointed with the tiny room, way undersized and lumpy 'king' bed, peeling wall paper, and cracked bathroom tiles.
"Awful...just awful " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/15/2010 Vote
6. The bathroom was average except for the shower/tub, where paint was peeling away and subtracted from the aesthetics.

9. Yes, there was peeling wallpaper in the room we stayed in and it was definitly dated decour, however, each room is in the process of getting a $50,000 renovation.
"Part of its charm " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/14/2003 Vote
10. I know that people who party in the rooms make it difficult to keep a hotel in the French Quarter looking perfect, but mold growing behind the wallpaper (which is why it peels) and under the carpets is unacceptable.
"Avoid this one! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/30/2003 Vote
