The carpet was old and very stained, the wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls, there were huge holes in the bathroom door where hooks were removed and not replaced, the window sill was rotting and had a huge chunk missing from it, one of the feet on the base of the lamp was broken off so every time you turned the lamp on it fell over (which probably explained why it was bent and misshaped), one of the beds didn't have a bed skirt so you could see the huge ugly tags everywhere and there are only like three electrical outlets in the entire room.
