Granted this is NOLA so it's probably not a bad idea to battle the general street
smell
s, but no one in our party (a rather large group for a wedding) thought that it was a pleasant odor.

Our bathroom did have a vague 'musty'
smell
, but that just seems to be the
smell
of New Orleans water from what we've experienced before.

smell
of anything.

The first room they put us on had a horrendous
smell
(smoke/mildew) and we immediately called down and they sent someone up with new keys and moved us down the hall.

They also pump some kind of perfume into the lobby so the
smell
may bother some sensitive people.
