1. The room we stayed in was also a mess, filthy carpet, dust everywhere, and although it was a non-smoking room it smelled like cigarette smoke.

5. The Sheraton New Orleans is a run down mess, the housekeeping should be ashamed of themselves for putting a sheet on my bed with a giant whole in the middle, my room was basic including an outdated dacor and fat tv, when online they show you a beautiful room and flat screen tv.

7. The concierges also leave much to be desired - when asked for recommendations that won't get one caught in the parade mess, they simply shrug and say it is impossible.

The service was not good - they were nice to us (maybe cause we had a kid) but mostly left the tables messy (many mornings ALL un-occupied tables has mess on them - as the servers were busy doing something on a computer with their back to the room) and I saw them be pretty rude to many folks about signing in.
