1. We called at 1:30pm to ask how long this was going to be going on and to complain about the noise & the jack hammering shaking our room the girl at the front desk was extremely rude.

3. When I asked the manager to honor their word and open the pool, she mumbled that it was company policy that she can not override, later called the security personal responsible for the pool, he was exteremely rude and told me he will not unlock to pool even the manager asks him).

When I called down to ask what was going on, the employee who answered the phone was rather rude by explaining that the group had paid to book the courtyard, didn't I pay to use the courtyard too?? I was offered Starpoints in exchange but it didn't seem enough since this was our last night and I had wanted to lounge there and enjoy the setting.

5. The check in staff when we got there was a bit rude but the late night staff was nice and the morning staff was polite as well.

The cons - the service was AWFUL (rude lady at the front desk, repeatedly charged us incorrectly and were argumentative when we asked them to fix it, the concierge was clueless and hadn't heard of even the most famous attractions from Preservation Hall to Galatoire's, and everything took FOREVER), the maid service was disappointing (didn't even show up at all some days), and the decor was bland and bordered on ugly in a city with so much charm and decorative flair.
