1. The shuttle from MIA runs every 20 minutes but it can be difficult to spot the right shuttle in the dark as it has gone past you before you can read the sign on the side, Fortunately the aircrew were booked into the same hotel and they recognised the shuttle from the headlights and stopped it.

2. If you are staying for longer, it may be worth renting a car, as getting around to places like South Beach and downtown Miami can be difficult and you would have to use taxis.
