1. The room I had was shabby and dated, the windows were dirty and for the price I paid I was very disapointed.

2. Apparently, the 'newly renovated' (read: tacky dated nineties low-ceiling) rooms have no minibar yet and the non-renovated (read: possibly tackier eighties low-ceiling) do.

3. This was not my first time at this hotel and had some problems with them in the past before they embarked on this renovation, but at that time I was told all issues (mold, musty, and very dated) would be resolved with the pending renovation, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed there again.

5. Our room on the 17th floor was a little tired/dated with safe and hairdryer not working, also what were meant to be double beds certainly felt like 1.

8. Simply put, a 'reservation' at the Intercontinental Miami Hotel is only a crap shoot as to whether the room may be actually available for a person's reserved room and dates.
