4. Down side: rooms are tiny, I had a room with a queen bed and it was ok but I got my sister and her family a room for a night and the 2 double beds were so close to each other there was no room to move in her room.

6. Rooms are very confortable and well stocked; my only complaint was the lack of lighting in the bathroom and tiny nature of teh shower; but the bathroom overall - very nice.

7. There were some minor complaints: $11 for daily internet access (when are 5-star hotels that charge $450 a night going to catch on and stop the nickel and diming?); erratic housekeeping (turndown service is a nice idea but not when they don't replace the towels); a tiny fitness center with so little equipment that its crowded with 3-4 others in there at the same time.

8. Pros:- Brand-new and clean, Molton Brown soaps, LCD television, nice bedding, clean lined (if simple) furniture (think Room & Board), great big tub, Kohler fixtures- Sense of history, appears tastefully restored- Everybody`s friendly (that seems to be Boston all over, Cambridge too)- Light dimmers on about every light in the room (nice touch)- Some of the dishes in the restaurant are good (duck confit, for example), albeit tiny- Nice wine selection- Complimentary daily Wall St.
"Good, Not Great " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/11/2007 Vote
