I was really impressed with:-the work that was done in designing and renovating the old prision section of the hotel and the way the story was told, really cool-the staff was terrirfic-the nightlife and bars - I live near Boston and had no idea this was such a cool placeOn the downside - I expected to be sleeping in a renovated cell but wound up in the 'tower' (read - the new hotel that was bolted on to the prison).

3. The only downside is that the lighting in the bathroom isn't the best for getting ready, ie applying make-up.

4. The only downside for me was that my room was located relatively near the nightclub, so I could hear music faintly throbbing at night.

5. The only downside (if there really is one) is that the hotel is located next to Mass Gen Hospital in Beacon Hill and somewhat removed from the restaurants, shops etc.
