1. As a lone diner i am more inclined to tip more, however in this scenario it was not the case, i felt like i wasn't explained the menu and noticed the servers talking and interacting more with guests dining in couples and groups, i felt a bit ignored.

3. Whilst sitting in the bar, a lot of the staff appeared to be standing around talking to each other and ignoring a lot of the guests.

Why?- Half hotel, half hospital: The hotel is directly located next to the giant Mass Gen Hospital, with view towards the clinic buildings and a lot of patients within and around the hotel- Unpleasant direct location: giant motorway interchange in front of the hotel- Design: interesting lobby, average room interior, few with good view towards Charles River, no top-quality furniture (except bathrooms)- Service: fair front desk service, poorest restaurant service (Clink), my complaints were ignored afterwards- Food: only breakfast: very poor menu and average quality- Wellness/spa: no facilities- No-Go: a (unexpensive) t-shirt disappeared from the room, several complaints to the front desk and general management remained fruitless or were ignored.

6. During a protracted correspondence with the hotel over this matter, during which my initial email was completely ignored, one of the senior hotel staff wrote internally to a colleage 'This guest is not stable'.
