4. Had to call first their reservations, who said the site was wrong, there were no rooms available using points, and they couldn't book a room for me that way, despite the fact that they themselves could use the internet and pull up the same information I kept pulling up.

Word of further caution to those arriving @ the airport-when the hotel operator says the shuttle will pick you up @ the 'green sign', she is referring to the green sign that also says 'Hotel shuttle', not the green sign that says 'Active passenger loading'; depending on your terminal, you may only see 1 of these green signs (like I did) & wait in vain under the wrong one.
