1. They arrived late, were very noisy and were the same again very early in the morning - at all costs avoid rooms with a connecting door in order to ensure a good night's sleep.

4. I stayed at this hotel on a nice day in May, but I can see how it would be terrific in bad weather for avoiding taking a cab (or rental car) into snarled highway/airport traffic.

5. We had a 6am flight from Logan, so to avoid waking up at 2 & driving from Rhode Island up the I-95 & 93 into Boston, we stayed at the Logan Airport Hilton.

6. As far as the rooms go, this hotel does not use fitted bottom sheets on the beds so I ended up having to essentially re-make the bed each night to avoid having a wadded up knot of sheet under my back.

7. We stayed here for a night to avoid a heavy snow delay on our way back to London and it was a perfectly welcome stop and added to the enjoyment of our holiday which I wouldn't necessarily expect from an airport stop.

8. Unless you're looking at a significant drop in price for multi-day car rental while in the area, it's cheaper to just get daily rentals and avoid the $30 parking charges.
