6. We didn't have an issue with any staff being rude-- everyone we met was very cordial, including the spa manager who introduced himself and gave us a short tour of the facility (very small and expensive but nice enough.

Be careful with the people at the front desk-- our guy made a big show about giving us an 'awesome' upgrade to a room with a 'wraparound corner balcony' that provided both city and ocean views-- he even claimed that the room was one of his favorites and he had to run the upgrade past the manager b/c it was such an expensive room.

8. We decided to move to the Loews Hotel which was more expensive but by god was it worth it, the hotel totally made our trip.
