1. The only serious downside to the Monte Carlo, is that the rooms are not well sound-proofed.

3. I had a fabulous time because of the people I was there with - the Monte Carlo was the only downside of the whole trip.

8. There were long lines to check in and the downside was definitely queuing for the elevators, which were very slow to arrive and invariably too crowded to accommodate everyone.

Another slight downside was that my wife and I requested a single king bed, but instead received two queens (or fulls? couldn't tell); however I think this was a trade-off they had to make to accommodate our request to be adjacent to some friends we were traveling with, so it was not a big deal for us to not have a king.
