1. The resort fee is probably something that you could argue but since I was there 'free' I didn't complain.

3. Given that we had booked the hotel 5 months earlier, I complained and was eventually allocated a room on the 24th floor which had a much better view over the pool area, and I would recommend that you ask for a room on as high a floor as possible.

5. Luckily i was at the end of the corridor so i had no reason to complain but i'm sure guests in room closer to these 'suspect' rooms must have had a terrible time.

8. You get no better service at the higher end properties so why pay so much more????Last thing to people complaining about all the smoke - THIS IS LAS VEGAS, IT IS WHAT IS LEGAL AN ALLOWED, IT IS NO SUPRISE - SO GET OVER IT OR DON'T GO TO VEGAS.

9. I have alot of family and friends that travel to Vegas and stay at these 'higher' end properties and the problems people complain about at the Monte Carlo happen at the higher priced hotels to.
