5. In my room, the handle handle to the sliding bathroom door was broken (hanging there, off the hinge), the door itself wouldn't slide closed and needed to be replaced, the refrigerator wasn't working and had to be replaced and the carpet was obviously worn and in desperate need of upgrading.

7. The bedroom corridors are beginning to look a touch worn and, compared to a previous visit, the whole spirit of the place seems to have declined.

8. They charge for the alcohol, which is different than the Marriott and Renaissance hotels we frequent (which are often international locations) and the lounge looks a bit worn also.
