1. This may be a plus for some, but I like to gamble and my husband is a smoker (he likes to be able to smoke in the room).

7. it's the only place people can smoke in the public areas of the hotel and although there is ventilation, if you are a non-smoker, I don't think you could tolerate the smoky atmosphere for long.
