5. Sometimes you can live with a dumpy hotel when the staff are friendly and you have great service, but guess what the service was terrible and the staff has the worst morale I've ever saw working in a hotel.

8. The location of the hotel was great, and being on the 'edge' of the downtown area meant that while everything was nearby, it wasn't terribly noisy.
