I'm going to deviate a little from this specific hotel and give you an idea of the other hotels in the area: expensive, often with no breakfast included, rude service, no views or even vegetation, and almost every time we haven't stayed at The Lemontree or The Embassy Suites, something has happened at the hotel that has ruined our trip.

5. The location just the right distance away from disneyland, close to grocery and mainstream restaurants which meant spending less on expensive meals in Disneyland and more money for souvenirs.

7. We decided to stay at the Lemon Tree this year to save a few dollars, and that we did, but at the expense of some basic services that we would expect from even the cheapest motel.

The positives:--Fantastic room rate for what we got--Proximity to less-expensive restaurants than in Disney area--Proximity to Disneyland and freeways--Nice decor inside and outside the hotel--Beautiful landscaping and fountains--Laundry facilities--Full kitchen--Continental breakfast, even with bottled water to take along for the day--Clean room and hotel--Lemon drops at front desk--Tetley`s tea--Great place and price for a family of four.
