1. It lost one rating from me because the staff member we met on arrival was really rude to us for no reason, very abrasive and wasn't really interested in anything we said.

9. The staff aren't the smiley, overly happy types that you get in a lot of US hotels but they are certainly not rude and the service I received was quick and efficient.

10. It took 30 minutes to get checked in by the extremely rude person at the front desk, while trying not to step on the tools, art, and everything else in disarray on the floor.
