1. In summary - I would definitely go back to the hotel if I return to San Francisco and I would recommend it to other people - but only armed with the knowledge that the rooms at the back on the second floor are to be avoided like the plague.

2. We were told the elevators 'don't always work' so if we wanted to avoid getting stuck we should 'take the stairs' The parking is about 3 blocks down the road and there was no uloading room in front of the hotel s we had to drag our bags all over SF.
