Cons: noisy, bad breakfast (no tables to sit at, poor quality coffee/food), 'standard' rooms have shared bathrooms (no sink in the bathroom -- you have to fumble with your room key and open your room door with dirty hands before you can wash them; shower water temperature fluctuates from freezing cold to scalding hot back to freezing cold each minute).

2. ) take some getting used to-carpets were pretty yucky dirty-art?? (depends on taste)-mobility can be hardNot to miss-alcatraz-lombard street-chinatown-shopping everywhere-italian feasting (northbeach)-walking up the hills to get good views-golden gate park-take BART out to Berkeley to the chocolate factory-food too good everywhere to mention where to gohope this helps.

3. other than that, the rooms are tiny, area is extremely noisy (some rooms face an alley where trash bins are banged a few times a day), breakfast is a joke (half-defrosted bagels), showers/toilets are dirty - especially the shared ones, and the overall experience is not too exciting.
