1. Both sets of rooms that we saw were spacious, but designed in a retro 1970 style that to me seemed spartan and uncomfortable.

6. 2) I have stayed in higher starred hotels (and more businessey) than this, and ones I have liked much better, but have never really felt so uncomfortable walking into a hotel wearing casual shorts and t-shirt as I did at the Clift.

8. I like modern hotels, but this was done in poor taste, looked cheap, the bed was horrifically uncomfortable and the entire hotel is dark.
