1. I was shocked to see how small the room was We had to go in the bathroom almost climb over the WC to close the door before being able to get to the sink.

4. Also, we were shocked to have to pay for the Internet, all the other hotels we stayed at offered Wi-Fi for free, even the smaller places, so the Clift approach makes them seem cheap, rather than boutique.

6. Honestly I have low levels of what I consider good service especially as a low-key business traveler and was really shocked at how poor the level of service was for an expensive and high regarded hotel that corporate travel routinely books for our company.
