1. Although the location is great (very close to Union Square and Chinatown; and well away from the tacky tourist traps at Fisherman's Wharf), the hotel is only adequate at best.

2. It was only a half hour walk to Fishermans Wharf which is worth a visit but we were glad that we weren't staying in that particular area - it was very busy and a bit tacky.
