1. Only little trouble with the noise of outside hallways with the next doors door open/closed that you can hear most of the time.
"Great service, perfect location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/24/2012 Vote
2. With a hotel with as good a location as this there is bound to be some street noise, SF is a vibrate city and you can't ask it to shush.
"Great staff, brilliant location, free Wifi, comfortable beds. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/10/2012 Vote
3. We had a room at the side of the hotel and this meant that we didn't get too much street noise, but we also didn't get a view, but just like I didn't come to SF to sit in a hotel room, I didn't come to look out of the window either.
"Great staff, brilliant location, free Wifi, comfortable beds. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/10/2012 Vote
4. Even staying at the 8th or 6th floor we still could hear cables cars noises.
"It seemed much better " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
5. Having read reviews on here before visiting, I requested a higher floor room on the backside of the hotel and that worked out nicely; my room was pretty quiet most of the time (some occasional city noise and the 'ding' of the trolley on Powell St.
"Great location and price for older hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/16/2012 Vote
6. I booked two rooms and requested both rooms above the fourth floor - to stifle the noise from the streets below.
"Quaint Hotel, Quietly Tucked Away " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/21/2012 Vote
7. We were on the fourth floor (it had no view--just the buildings next door), and inner city street noise could be heard at times, but not bad enough to wake me up when I finally conked out.
"I wish I could have slept! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/1/2012 Vote
8. On the other hand, if you are traveling alone or looking to find a reasonable hotel in a great location and lack of space doesn't bother you and you don't mind street noise, this is a great place for you.
"Not for everyone " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/1/2011 Vote
9. I live somewhat in the country and not use to any street noise.
