4. Unfortunately, there was a large fan underneath our bedroom window which switched on and off periodically and was loud enough to prevent the window from being left open, and even with this closed was loud enough to wake me from sleep.

5. My only complaint was the noise level --- we were very aware of our neighbor's comings and goings, and the street noise seemed very loud as well (we were on the 7th floor so I was a bit surprised at how close the traffic sounded from our room).

7. Maybe a little bit loud for non-city folks as it's right by the street the cable cars run up, so you can hear them till midnight or so.
