1. Try Lefty O'Dooles for breakfast - up the street, a tiny coffee stop right across the street on the left makes great bagels for budget breakfast.

8. we have stayed at other san francisco hotels with family suites but the kids rooms tend to be geared toward very little kids (bunk beds, dress up toys, tiny chairs) so this was a real find for us.

9. We also had issues with the air conditioning, the toilet not flushing, and the fact that there is only one super tiny shelf in the bathroom.

10. Pros - quick walk to Moscone; inexpensive; staff tried to be attentiveCons - many homeless people, who could at times be quiet aggressive in their panhandling, lingering near the entrance to the hotel; tiny rooms - very difficult for 2 people to stay in 1 room/nowhere to store 2 suitcases; noisy AC/lots of street noise (nightclub is across the street); cleanliness was marginal.
"Some pros but plenty of cons " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/11/2009 Vote
